A passionate and supportive primary school in Runcorn is looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 3 class alongside the school's Deputy Head Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and skilled TA with Primary experience to make a real impact while supporting both the class teacher and pupils in their learning.
The role will involve a mixture of general classroom duties and occasional class cover, so applicants must be proactive, adaptable, and confident in leading learning when required.
Responsibilities:

Providing targeted support to groups and individual pupils, including those with additional needs

Assisting with planning, preparation, and classroom organisation

Covering lessons on occasion, ensuring high standards of behaviour and learning are maintained

Supporting pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback

Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular opportunities
Requirements:

Experience working in Key Stage 1 or 2

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A positive, flexible, and professional approach
