Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support our client in Runcorn on a temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in sustainable raw materials, playing a key role in keeping operations running smoothly during a period of planned absence cover.
The Role:
As Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing day-to-day mechanical support across plant and equipment.
- Carrying out maintenance, fault-finding, and repair tasks to minimise downtime.
- Collaborating with the operations team to ensure safe, efficient plant performance.
- Following all site safety procedures and contributing to a culture of safety excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within a process, chemical, or heavy industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively across departments.
- Commitment to high safety standards and procedures.
