Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the quality assurance of manufacturing processes
- Implement and monitor quality control systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards
- Manage client audits and inspections
- Review and analyse quality performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with industry and company quality standards
Profile
A successful Senior Quality Engineer should have:
- Experience working to AS9100 industry standards
- Extensive knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools such as 8D and 5 why's
- Experience in managing quality systems in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with supplier quality is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- A passion for driving improvement and achieving high-quality standards
