Hays Education are currently working with a school in Runcorn to recruit a PPA teacher for a long-term role starting in September 2025. The role is initially for 1 term, but it could be extended.The school is welcoming applications from ECT's and experienced teachers.Your new role

As a PPA teacher, you will be responsible for covering PPA, Subject Leader and Management time across the whole school (EYFS - Year 6) following a planned timetable. You will have access to a scheme of work which will require a small amount of planning time to ensure all children are engaged and accessing the learning. This is a great role for an NQT/ECT to gain experience in various classrooms or for someone looking for a part-time teaching role. What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be comfortable and flexible in teaching all year groups.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes with ease.
  • Be confident in implementing a range of behaviour management strategies.
  • Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of children, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), and other staff members.
