About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Runcorn. The role will primarily involve supporting children in Key Stage 2 (KS2), helping them to access the curriculum, develop their confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities in line with the national curriculum.
  • Provide support for individual pupils and small groups, including those with additional learning needs.
  • Help to create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support the social and emotional development of pupils, encouraging positive behaviour and independence.
  • Assist with preparing learning materials and resources.

About You

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate) are desirable but not essential.
