Social Worker - Duty & Assessment

Connect2Halton is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team within Halton Council. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive team environment where your skills and experience will make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake assessments of children in need and those at risk of harm.
• Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
• Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
• Prepare clear and concise reports for a variety of audiences including court.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Duty and Assessment or similar.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage caseloads.
• Assessment and analytical skills.
• 3 years perm experience.
