Halton Borough council are looking for social workers to join their children with disabilities service!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the needs of disabled children with complex needs, ensuring child-centred and outcome-focused planning.
- Produce and review Child in Need plans, working in partnership with children, families, and professionals.
- Carry out statutory responsibilities, including visiting children in overnight settings to ensure they are:
- Safeguarded effectively.
- Receiving quality personal care.
- Offered a range of enriching activities and opportunities to support their development.
Requirements as a Social Worker include:
- SWE Registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Drive and have access to a car
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
