About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH needs

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities

  • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and external professionals to support individual learning plans

  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reports and reviews

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or childcare setting

  • A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards one)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach

  • A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
