Role:- Maintenance Technician
Location :- Widnes (WA8)
Contract :- Permanent
Hrs :- Mon - 08:15 - 16:45hrs & Fri 08:15 - 15:30hrs
Pay Rate :- Up to 34k per annum DOE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client based in the Widnes area.

As the Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will be :
  • Always adhere to all on-site health & safety procedures.
  • Mechanical & electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
  • Ensuring maintenance activities comply with ISO Standards and other legal requirements
  • Complete PPM Schedules as rota' d.
  • Be involved in continuous improvement activities.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner.

As the successful Maintenance Technician, you will have the following skills/experience
  • Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 / HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Maintenance
  • Hold 18th Edition certification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of TPM principles and proactive maintenance planning
  • PLC fault finding knowledge.
  • Familiarity with ISO
  • Excellent communicator and team player
