Butler Rose is working on behalf of a brilliant client - a growing, forward-thinking agricultural firm of accountants and tax advisors based in the Northamptonshire countryside - currently looking for an experienced, Accountant to join their close-knit team based just outside Wellingborough.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships as much as they do balancing the books.

Our client is a well-established and expanding agricultural specialist firm with a loyal client base and a strong rural reputation. They offer a supportive, down-to-earth team culture and take real pride in the work they do for their clients across the sector.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Preparing year-end accounts and managing financial compliance for a range of clients
  • Building trusted relationships with clients in the agricultural and rural business space
  • Advising clients on best practices and financial planning matters
  • Collaborating closely with the wider team to deliver a high standard of service
  • Helping to improve internal processes and client service systems
You'll Need:
  • Solid experience in accounts preparation, ideally in a client-facing role
  • Confidence managing client relationships and providing professional advice
  • Familiarity with CCH software (a plus, but not essential)
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach
  • An interest in agriculture or experience working with rural clients is highly valued
