It requires the ability to work independently and with high integrity. 聽 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accountant, Financial Accountant - Manufacturer 聽 As our Accountant, you job will include : 路 Deputizing for the Finance & HR Manager where required. 路 Supporting the Finance & HR Manager with ad-hoc financial analysis, internal reporting, and process improvements. 路 Supporting the month-end process, ensuring deadlines are met for accurate and timely reporting. 路 Post-monthly general ledger journal entries, including accruals and prepayments; review nominal ledger and correct entries. 路 Monthly reconciliations of all key balance sheet control accounts. 路 Process supplier invoices and payments, ensuring correct coding and authorisation. 路 Maintain and update cash flow model, reconciling daily movements with bank statements. 路 Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to resolve customer account queries & support credit control. 路 Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset register. 路 Prepare and reconcile monthly UK, German, and Dutch VAT returns (with external agent support). 路 Prepare monthly corporation tax and deferred tax schedules. 路 Prepare annual P11D and PSA reports for review before submission. 路 Support annual audit by preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and collating documentation. 路 Liaise with HMRC, VAT authorities, and other regulatory bodies. 聽 PERSON SPECIFICATION: Accountant, Financial Accountant - Manufacturer 聽 To be successful in your application, you will have tangible experience of working in a similar role, in addition to this you will also be able to demonstrate: 聽 路 SAP experience, including FIORI apps (Mandatory). 路 TAGETIK experience (Preferred). 路 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook in particular). 路 Experience working within a Group of companies (Preferred). 路 Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks. 路 Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. 路 Analytical, proactive, and inquisitive mindset. 聽 We welcome applications from permanent or contract Accountants & Management Accountants from different backgrounds, regardless of current seniority levels. 聽 OUR COMPANY:聽 We are an international manufacturer of high-quality material handling solutions.
