Electrical Project Engineer About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join a leading food manufacturing company in Northamptonshire. In this role, you will lead a variety of technical projects from concept through to completion, ensuring the continuous improvement of the company's impressive facility.Responsibilities of Electrical Project Engineer* Lead and manage electrical projects within the food manufacturing site, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.* Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage contractors.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimise electrical systems and processes.* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.* Monitor project CAPEX budgets and schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet objectives.* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement innovative solutions.Key Requirements* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, preferably within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.* Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, and process control instrumentation.* Experience with AutoCAD and project management tools.* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, degree) are essential.* IOSH/Prince 2 certification is advantageous but not essential.This is an exciting opportunity to become a go-to expert within the capital projects team of a forward-thinking business.
