Field Service Technician Location - Rushden - Field based - Nationwide travel requiredSalary - £25,000 - £26,000 DOEHours: 37.5 hours per week, 9:00AM – 5:30PM, early finish on a Friday at 4PMOur client who has a reputation of over 25 years in the Manufacturing industry is looking for a candidate who can provide technical support to Technical Services Department to ensure a consistently high quality and accurate service is provided to our customers & engineers.The purpose of the role...Provide field based Planned Preventive Maintenance support of our client's products throughout the UK and Ireland. Deliver a consistently high quality and accurate service which is driven by an understanding of customers’ needs and expectations.Duties include:
  • Attend customer sites as scheduled by the Customer Service Team Leader and carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (and occasional repair) work to the highest technical standard.
  •  Work with other team members on installation, commissioning and training projects.
  • Ensure all new equipment is installed to the highest possible standard.
  • Update the electronic job management system according to agreed procedures.
  • Develop profitable relationships with customers to ensure the ongoing promotion of the Technical Service Department and our client's product range.
  • Manage and maintain tools, parts and equipment.
