About the Role:As an Inventory & Technical Administrator, you will provide essential administrative support to our dynamic Research and Development Department. Your role will encompass purchasing, stock control, and various secretarial duties, all while ensuring that our team operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchasing & Stock Control:- Maintain up-to-date records of R&D Purchase Orders using our ERP system.- Handle supplier queries, quotes, and delivery dates to ensure timely procurement.

Administrative Support:- organise and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements and postal duties.- Keep the department well-equipped with necessary stationery and manage office supplies.

Training Assistance:- Assist in scheduling annual staff appraisals and maintaining training records.

Expenditure Tracking:- Oversee company credit card receipts and assist with invoice queries.

Meeting Coordination:- Arrange meetings, travel logistics, and hospitality for visitors and staff.

Project Management Support:- Provide administrative assistance to project managers as needed.

What We're Looking For:

A minimum of 2-3 years of office experience in a technically biassed secretarial or administrator role.Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone manner.Strong organisational abilities with the capability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential information.

Working Hours:

Starting Window: 07:00 to 09:15Lunch Break: 30 minutes between 12:00 and 13:00 (no lunch break on Fridays)Finishing Window: 16:30 to 18:00 (Monday to Thursday), 12:30 to 14:30 (Fridays)

Location:Based at our client's facility in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
