We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic special education needs school on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

The school we are seeking is a vibrant, inclusive provision who supports students with cognition and learning needs and autism.

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting, delivering, and planning lessons, working closely with teachers to ensure that all pupils are able to make strong progress. You will help students to develop essential skills and, where appropriate, gain accreditation that supports their transition into later life.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences
  • Work effectively with individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive learning environment
  • Help pupils to develop independence, confidence, and life skills
  • Experience of leading a classroom (secondary or SEN provisons wold be desirable)
