Class 1 Driver - Biosolids

Location: Ruthin, North Wales

We're looking for a reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our biosolids operation based in Ruthin. This is a vital role supporting wastewater treatment and recycling across the region.

If you're a professional driver who isn't afraid of hands-on work and wants stable hours with a clear shift pattern, this could be the job for you.

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday during training and familiarisation

  • Progressing to a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern once fully established



The Role

  • Transporting biosolids, human waste and wastewater by-products

  • Operating tankers and associated equipment

  • Working to strict health, safety and environmental standards

  • Representing the company professionally on customer sites

This role involves unpleasant materials - a strong stomach and a practical, no-nonsense attitude are essential.



What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class 1 HGV licence

  • Driver CPC and digital tachograph card

  • Experience with tankers or waste work preferred but not essential (full training provided)

  • Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable with physical work

  • Willingness to work shifts once trained
