A Level Psychology and Sociology Teacher

About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated A Level Psychology and Sociology Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive sixth form or secondary school in Ruthin. This is a full-time position for the entire academic year, ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is committed to inspiring students and delivering high-quality teaching in both subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in A Level Psychology and Sociology.
  • Prepare students for AQA or equivalent exam board assessments.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and curriculum development.
  • Support students’ academic and personal development.
  • Participate in school events, parent evenings, and enrichment activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
