General Builder - Carpenter

General Builder- Carpenter required, to work on a site in Rye, East Sussex, for an IMMEDIATE START.

As a General Builder- Carpenter, you will be working to plans already formulated and this business / property is having the addition of several rooms.

This is a hands-on role and our client, requires that you will have good knowledge of general building work, so you can work on the construction of the additional rooms. Carpentry will also play a large part of the role.

This role will suit a candidate who is able to work in the one location, for a period of time until completion and who can start work immediately.

You will have:

• A proven experience in general building and carpentry
• Have a good knowledge of extensions
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Ensure all work completed is compliant
• Deliver a high-quality of workmanship
• Ability to adhere to deadlines
• Strong understanding of building regulations and safety standards
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues
• Strong attention to detail
• A good work ethic which is quality focused
• Own tools
• A calm and a good communicator with the ability to coordinate and liaise with the client
• Organised / tidy

General Builder- Carpenter - salary and terms are negotiable. IMMEDIATE START.
