The RoleThis is not a pure recruitment role—it is a business development position tailored for someone who has worked in recruitment and understands the lifecycle of the hiring process. The successful candidate will use their background in recruitment to win new client accounts, build strong business relationships, and drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and secure new business opportunities with UK companies across multiple industries.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through outreach, networking, and market research.
- Leverage recruitment experience to understand client needs and provide consultative solutions.
- Develop and deliver tailored business development strategies to increase client acquisition and revenue.
- Maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and account growth.
- Collaborate with internal recruitment teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
- Track and report on business development performance metrics.
- Proven experience working in recruitment (agency or in-house).
- Strong business development or sales experience, ideally within recruitment or staffing.
- Excellent understanding of the recruitment process and client expectations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- UK-based and eligible to work in the UK.
