PositionSummary:
WearecurrentlyseekinganexperiencedandcompetentAircraftStructuralTechniciantojointheirworkshopteam.Theidealcandidatewillhavestronghands-onexperienceinstructuralrepairandoverhaulofkeyaircraftcomponents,particularlyinhigh-precisiontasksinvolvingaluminumandcompositestructures.
KeyResponsibilities:
Thesuccessfulcandidatemustbecapableofindependentlycarryingoutthefollowingtasksoncomponentsincluding(butnotlimitedto):
FlightControlSurfaces,EngineInlets,FanCowls,ThrustReversers,LandingGearDoors,andPassengerDoors
- Fabricationandinstallationofflushrepairdoublerstoinletandflightcontrolleadingedgeskins
- Replacementofinletlipskinsegmentsandflightcontrolsurfaceskinpanels
- Removalandreplacementofsub-assemblies(bothrivetedandbolted)
- Useofhandtools,precisionmeasuringinstruments,andspecializedworkshopequipmenttoperformstructuralworktohighstandards
- Adherencetoallrelevantsafetyandqualityassuranceprocedures
- Accuratedocumentationofworkperformedinaccordancewithregulatoryandcompanystandards
Qualifications&Experience:
- ExperienceasastructuraltechnicianinanaerospacemaintenanceorMROenvironment
- Provenexperienceworkingoncomponentssuchasengineinlets,thrustreversers,flightcontrolsurfaces,etc.
- Competencyinsheetmetalfabricationandstructuralrepairs
- Familiaritywithflushrepairtechniquesandbonded/fastenedstructures
