We are seeking a CGI Specialist for our client, a growing technology company, based in Saffron Walden. You will create high-quality computer-generated imagery and 3D visualisations of prototype equipment. The role combines technical precision with creative design and involves close collaboration with engineering, design and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models from CAD data, sketches or concepts
- Produce photorealistic renders, animations and interactive visualisations
- Apply advanced texturing, lighting and shading techniques
- Translate technical drawings into compelling visual assets
- Support product development and marketing with visual content
Requirements:
- Proficiency in 3D modelling tools (e.g., Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, Cinema 4D)
- Experience with rendering engines (e.g., V-Ray, KeyShot, Unreal Engine)
- Working knowledge of CAD software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications
Desirable
- Experience with AR/VR platforms (Unity or Unreal Engine)
- Familiarity with engineering or technical environments
- Knowledge of real-time rendering workflows.
