Assembler - Medical Devices Cambridge, UK
3 Month Contract FTC (minimum, with potential extension)

We're seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a cutting-edge medical device manufacturer based in Cambridge. You'll be working on the assembly and testing of intricate electro-mechanical systems used in life-changing medical technology.



Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test complex electro-mechanical systems, including motors, sensors, circuit boards, and mechanical structures.

  • Set up and operate thermoforming and laser welding equipment to support precision manufacturing.

  • Perform inspections, functional tests, and troubleshooting to ensure the highest product quality and compliance standards.

  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports on production efficiency and quality metrics.

  • Work closely with quality control teams and follow all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.

  • Collect, process, and analyse experimental and production data using relevant software tools.

  • Present findings to the R&D team to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement.



About You

  • Hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly or precision manufacturing, ideally within a medical or high-tech environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus.

  • Comfortable working with small components and complex assemblies.
