As a QSHE Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental standards across the site. Working closely with the QSHE Engineer and wider operational teams, you will carry out inspections, audits, and data analysis to ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining high standards in product quality, workplace safety, and environmental responsibility.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Support
Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and final products to verify conformance to specifications. Assist in the investigation and documentation of non-conformances and customer complaints. Support the implementation of quality control plans, test procedures, and inspection criteria.

Health & Safety Monitoring
Perform routine workplace safety checks and assist in risk assessments and incident investigations. Monitor compliance with safety protocols, PPE usage, and safe working practices. Support toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions.

Environmental Compliance
Assist in monitoring environmental controls such as waste segregation, emissions, and spill prevention. Support data collection for environmental reporting and audits. Promote awareness of environmental responsibilities across the site.

Audit & Compliance Activities
Participate in internal audits for ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 systems. Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Support supplier audits and follow-up on action items.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • HNC/HND or equivalent in Engineering, Health & Safety, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a quality or HSE technician role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Competence in using inspection tools and basic data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
  • Mechanical measurements of machined parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, shadowgraphs, vernier height gauges, surface roughness gauges
  • CMM operating experience is desirable
