A Senior FPGA Design Engineer with extensive experience using Xilinx design tools together with strong signal processing knowledge is sought by a leading name insurveillance and sensor systems design. Hybrid working available.

As part of a small, multidisciplinary team, you will take responsibility for Digital Signal Processing; undertaking modelling, coding, verification and testing of new FPGA designs for the very latest radar products. You will design and develop FPGA code (VHDL or Verilog) using Xilinx design tools as well as taking the lead on field trails of signal processing performance.

Skills and Experience for the Senior FPGA Design Engineer should include:

  • A Technical Degree.
  • Proven commercial FPGA development using Xilinx design tools such as Vivado.
  • Experience implementing signal processing algorithms.
  • An understanding of the design of high-speed digital circuits for real-time systems.
  • Experience of both design verification and hardware testing.
  • Some software design using C/C++, Python or Rust.
