About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic Research & Development (R&D) team. In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of innovative chemistry productivity tools, driving product development and improvement projects from concept to completion.

Working closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists, you will contribute your mechanical design expertise to deliver cutting-edge solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and improvement of products, with a focus on chemistry productivity tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronic engineers, scientists, and manufacturing teams, to create innovative solutions.
  • Utilize advanced SolidWorks skills to produce detailed 3D designs and technical drawings.
  • Evaluate and select materials and manufacturing processes to optimize product performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables meet defined specifications and company objectives.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, and ideas effectively to stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design within industrial or R&D environments.
  • Strong expertise in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and technical drawing.
  • Good understanding of electronic design principles and their integration with mechanical systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, additive manufacturing) and material selection.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
