Our client based in Trafford Park are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with experience working within a food manufacturing environment.
Main Purpose of Job:
Conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures
Main Tasks of Job:
1) Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
2) Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
3) Develop and implement preventative maintenance procedures
4) Plan and Schedule repairs on site
5) Liaise with external contractors to complete additional requirements on site
6) Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
7) Communicate with production regarding downtime
8) Complete the required documentation
9) Member of the HACCP team
10) Maintain clean and safe working environment for yourself and other employees
11) Work within a team and on his own
12) Adhere to Personal hygiene rules outlined by company
13) Follow operating procedures relevant for tasks carried out
14) Complying with Company hygiene procedures and schedules ensuring the workstation is maintained in hygienic conditions; operate clean as you go policy all the time
15) Follow Health and Safety requirements all the time
16) Utilizes continuous improvement techniques and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes
17) Carry out any other reasonable task as directed by supervisor/manager
The shift pattern will be 5 days over 7.
The salary will be 38,000 per annum.
