Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 per day – potential to go permanent for the right candidate

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Sale, supporting children and young people aged 11–16 with a range of complex needs, including Autism, sensory processing difficulties, communication challenges and SEMH needs.
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who can bring patience, creativity and resilience to a warm and supportive classroom team.
The ideal candidate will:-
Have previous experience in a SEND setting, supporting pupils with complex or additional needs.

Be confident using communication aids or sensory strategies to support learning.

Bring a nurturing, calm and positive approach to behaviour management.

Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support.

Be committed to helping every learner thrive — academically, socially and emotionally.

£90 per day with opportunity to become salaried long-term.
