The Role

We are seeking a CIMA Qualified Management Accountant to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights and analysis to support key business decisions across multiple P&Ls within the group. You’ll ensure accurate reporting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and work closely with senior management to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and oversight of monthly management accounts across multiple entities within the group
  • Monthly analysis and reporting of financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Assisting with budgeting, quarterly forecasting
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Supporting the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
  • Preparation of additional financial information to support decision making and business anaylsis
  • Implementing and improving financial processes and controls
  • Preparation of weekly Cash Flow forecasts

The Ideal Candidate

  • ACCA or CIMA Qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Degree qualified in Accountancy and Finance (or similar) would be advantageous
  • Experience working in a multi-entity environment with multiple P&Ls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficient in financial systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or similar sector would be advantageous
  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
