This is a varied finance role working for a private equity backed business in Salford Quays.
The purpose of this role is to support the finance manager with a range of transactional duties including purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, expenses & more.

Description
Accounts Assistant duties include:
- Purchase ledger for various companies within the Group as required.
- Monthly and Mid-month payment runs.
- Assist with Sales ledger invoices for specified companies within the Group
- Payment on Account reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations for specified companies within the Group.
- Assist with audit requirements as directed.
- Intercompany recharge invoices throughout the Group
- Credit Control
- Provide assistance to management accounts as required.
- Any other duties as and when required.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record in a similar role
- Have a stable work history
- Be able to work to tight deadlines
- Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
- Be proficient in MS Office, including Excel
