Our client, based near Eccles, Manchester is looking to recruit several Assembly Operatives. They are an innovative company with new contracts in the pipeline. The last 12 months have been their busiest period since they startedover 10 years ago.
They recently won SME Business of the year.
Job Role:
To process sheet-metal using AutomatedCNC Punch press and CNCPress brake machinery to expected quality standards and timescales in the most efficient and safe manner. Keep the work area clean and organised to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
MAIN DUTIES
Duties/responsibilities (in order of priority)
Operating machinery within all company health and safety procedures and safe systems of work. To ensure you and others remain safe and unharmed by the machine you are operating.
Operating the machine with efficiency and productivity in mind to yield maximum output.
Keeping machine and tooling operational by completing routine / preventative maintenance
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all company rules and procedures
Conserving resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Assist wherever possible with the continued improvement and development of the department.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday: 40 hours 08.00 - 16.30
Hourly rate is negotiable dependent on experience.
