Daytodaydutiesoftherolewillinclude:

  • Prepareaccuratemonthlymanagementaccounts.
  • Workcloselywiththeexternalaccountantonmonthlymanagementaccounts.
  • Developandmanageshort-andlong-termcashflowforecastsandannualbudgets.
  • Createanddelivernewweeklyandmonthlyfinancialreports.
  • ManageSalesLedgerandPurchaseLedgerduties.
  • Performcreditcontrolactivities.
  • Completegeneralledgerjournalpostings.
  • Raise,match,andreconcileinvoices,ensuringaccuracypriortopayment
  • Processpayrollforapproximately20staff,includingrelatedsubmissions(P45,P60,P11D).
  • Liaisewithcustomersandsupplierstoresolvefinance-relatedqueries.
  • Conductbankreconciliationsandbalancesheetreconciliations.
  • Produceaccountsuptotrialbalance.
  • PrepareandsubmitquarterlyVATreturns.
  • Actasthemainpointofcontactforexternalstakeholders(HMRC,LocalCouncil,ThePensionsRegulator,etc.).
  • Leadmonth-endandyear-endclosingprocesses.
  • Recommendimprovementstointernalbookkeepingprocesses.
  • Manageweeklyandmonthlysupplierpaymentruns.
  • Reviewlandlordstatementsandrelatedexpenses.
  • Conductregularcostandexpenditurereviews,identifyingcost-savingopportunities.
  • DemonstratehighproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel.

CandidateRequirements

  • ExperienceinasimilarFinance/OfficeManagerordual-roleposition(beneficial)
  • Strongunderstandingofaccountingprinciples,financialreporting,andbookkeepingprocesses
  • HighproficiencyinMicrosoftExcel,MicrosoftOffice(Word&Excel),andfinancialaccountingsoftware(Xero,Operapreferred)
