Team ME Services Ltd is a long-established Mechanical & Electrical contracting company based in Media City UK, Salford. We specialise in design, installation, maintenance and technical services supporting our long-standing clients to deliver projects from conception through to completion.
Brief
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in delivering electrical projects in multi–discipline building services schemes for asset renewal, refurbishment and new build with a fixed focus on Cat A & Cat B fit-outs, commercial & bespoke feature lighting & lighting controls work streams.
The candidate must be enthusiastic, humble, willing to progress, personable and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills with existing multi-discipline design/project teams, clients and associated third parties.
Relationships

Responsible to: The successful candidate will report directly to the Company Directors.

Responsible for: Project compliance, site employees and sub-contractors.

Liaison with: Project managers/quantity surveyors, clients/customers, suppliers/contractors.
Main Roles & Responsibilities
-
Successfully manage delivery & financial performance of projects.

Proven communication to operational teams from sub-contractors to ‘cards in’ labour.

Show organisation, ‘can do’ outlook and problem solver attitude to role.

Successfully tender Electrical projects for new and existing clients.

Manage projects within current Health & Safety regulations.

Set and deliver excellence in standards in project delivery.

Successful communication/co-ordination with in-house disciplines (Mechanical) and client led departments.

Lead the company electrical compliance as the company’s Electrical Qualifying Manager.

Ensure work activity is in line with company environmental, quality and H&S policy and procedures and understanding your role within it.

Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience gained in Electrical Project/Contract Management.

City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 and AM2 or NVQ Level 3.

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing or EAL equivalent.

City & Guilds 2396 Design, Erection & Verification or EAL Equivalent (preferred).

Highly motivated, good work ethic and enthusiastic.

HNC (preferred), NEBOSH (preferred), CSCS, SMSTS.

Approachable with good interpersonal skills.

Accepts change and new ideas.

Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

Actively pursues personal development.
