Interim Property Data and Systems Officer
  • Location: Salford Civic Centre. Hybrid.

  • Hourly rate: £18.28 per hour.

We are seeking an Interim Property Data and Systems Officer to join our Strategic Asset Management team. This role is crucial in supporting and assisting the service to provide a professional, customer-focused, specialist technical service. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining and updating property information systems to ensure high-quality data integrity and support excellent customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support the maintenance and ongoing upkeep of property information systems, ensuring data is accurately inputted and kept up-to-date.
  • Provide property information, advice, and research service in response to requests from various stakeholders including employees, consultants, partners, and the general public.
  • Regularly update and cleanse information within the council's information systems.
  • Assist with data provision for responses to client requests within legal time frames.
  • Work closely with other council services to build strong working relationships and deliver an effective property information service.
  • Support the team by conducting necessary site inspections to investigate boundary anomalies and assist with the resolution of ownership disputes.
  • Ensure the integrity of data by following established procedures and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable experience in managing and prioritising workloads effectively, especially under conflicting deadlines.
  • Experience working with various systems, ideally information systems, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability in a customer service-focused environment, committed to providing high-quality service both externally and internally.
  • Flexibility to work as a team member and support colleagues.
  • Proactive in contributing to ongoing improvements by continuously reviewing working methods and procedures
