We are partnering with a well-established, UK-wide logistics and transport business headquartered in Salford to recruit a commercially astute Finance Business Partner.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you'll be reporting directly to the Finance Director and play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, supporting operational performance, and delivering value across the business.

The Role:

As a Finance Business Partner, you'll act as a key link between Finance and Operations-working closely with senior leaders across the UK to deliver impactful insights and drive strategic decisions. You'll take ownership of monthly financial reporting, contribute to forecasting and budgeting, and offer real-time analysis to help influence business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with regional operations teams to deliver data-driven insights
• Prepare monthly management accounts and operational reporting packs
• Support annual audit processes and financial planning cycles
• Provide commercial analysis and financial modelling to guide decision-making
• Present complex data in a clear, actionable format for stakeholders

About You:

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
• Strong background in commercial finance, ideally within logistics or transport
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders
• Analytical and solutions-focused with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Willing to travel occasionally to sites across the UK
