Head of Finance

Manchester - £70,000pa - £75,000pa

We are supporting a fantastic business based in Manchester looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role is full time on site but offering fantastic benefits. Successful candidates must ideally have experience at senior finance level within an engineering/construction/manufacturing business.

Responsibilities as a Head of Finance:

Develop and execute company’s financial strategy, including long term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Oversee cashflow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed/required.
Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside management reports.
Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and key financial stakeholders.
Provide financial updates and insights to the board and executive team.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.

Requirements of the role:

ACCA/CIMA/equivalent qualified.
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable.
Previous experience as Head of Finance/Financial Controller within an Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing business.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Previous experience of preparation in draft of tax/stats accounts.
