We are seeking adaptable and confident Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in the Salford area from September 2025. Whether you're seeking a full-time role, part-time hours, or ad-hoc cover work, we can offer opportunities to suit your schedule.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies

  • Support students with their learning and maintain a positive environment

  • Ensure lessons run smoothly in the teacher's absence

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the flexibility to work in different schools, gaining valuable experience and adapting to a range of classroom environments. This is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education support staff looking for flexible working arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people (school, youth work, tutoring, sports coaching etc.)

  • Confident communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage a classroom independently

  • Valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
