Head of Finance
Manchester - £70,000pa - £75,000pa
We are supporting a fantastic business based in Manchester looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This role is full time on site but offering fantastic benefits. Successful candidates must ideally have experience at senior finance level within an engineering/construction/manufacturing business.
Responsibilities as a Head of Finance:
- Develop and execute company’s financial strategy, including long term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee cashflow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed/required.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside management reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and key financial stakeholders.
- Provide financial updates and insights to the board and executive team.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Requirements of the role:
- ACCA/CIMA/equivalent qualified.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics would be desirable.
- Previous experience as Head of Finance/Financial Controller within an Engineering/Construction/Manufacturing business.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience of preparation in draft of tax/stats accounts.
