Sonic Summary
- We are looking for a maintenance engineer with an electrical background to work on a large estate in Manchester.
- This is a permanent position with a 37.5-hour work week, offering a salary of approximately £32,700.
- The working hours are Monday to Friday, alternating between 7am - 3pm and 10am - 6pm.
- Candidates should ideally have a Level 3 recognized engineering qualification and proven building maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
- The role includes completing general electrical maintenance, compliance checks, and supporting the maintenance team with various tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
Completing general electrical maintenance across the estate
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks
To cover checks on lighting and emergency lighting
To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplinesYou will be expected to have good all - round knowledge of other FM disciplines and general maintenance.
Basic mechanical and fabric tasks where required
Compliance checks
Skills & Background Required
Ideally recognised professional engineering qualification, Level 3
Willing to complete general building services and plant maintenance
Ideally 18th editionProven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable and reliable
