Offering a hybrid working model and additional financial incentives, this role combines professional challenge with real flexibility and support.The Role:You’ll be a key part of the frontline legal team, supporting individuals during one of the most critical moments of their legal journey – police interviews under caution. With a varied caseload and the chance to develop your advocacy skills further, your responsibilities will include:
  • Attending police stations across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas to advise and represent clients during interviews.
  • Providing clear, confident legal advice in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Managing your own caseload of pre- and post-charge matters, with scope to develop into Magistrates’ and Crown Court advocacy if desired.
  • Maintaining excellent client care throughout, ensuring a calm, reassuring presence for clients.
  • Collaborating with solicitors, barristers, and caseworkers to build strong legal strategies.
  • Participating in the firm’s out-of-hours rota, with enhanced rates and overtime available.
  • Representing the firm with professionalism and integrity at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Current Police Station Accreditation is essential.
  • Proven experience in providing legal advice at the police station.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • A client-focused, empathetic approach and a commitment to high standards of representation.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Flexibility to cover out-of-hours and weekend shifts as part of a rota.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
