Our client, a charity that supports vulnerable adults, is looking for a Criminal Justice Support Worker to join their team.

 

The role involves supporting a caseload of women involved in the Criminal Justice System, delivering a range of group work sessions.

 

 

Synopsis of duties:

  • Provide tailored support to women in Salford who are People on Probation.
  • Complete thorough documentation for referrals and WRNA assessments to identify individual needs.
  • Work closely with co-located Probation Service staff to ensure coordinated support.
  • Develop and agree on personalised action plans with each service user.
  • Monitor and review service users’ progress regularly, updating action plans as needed.
  • Manage a caseload effectively, supporting each client to progress in line with their support plan.
  • Record detailed contact notes following all interactions with clients and partner agencies.
  • Participate in regular supervision with the Centre Manager.
  • Comply with all organisational policies and procedures.
  • Proactively promote and market the service to ensure community awareness and engagement.
  • Contribute to wider project activities such as group sessions, case reviews, training events, and Foundation-led initiatives, as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with offenders, people at risk of offending and/pr vulnerable women
  • Ability to manage a caseload
  • Knowledge of offending behaviour
  • Must drive and have access to a car.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service
