We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to join a dynamic team at a leading Special Needs School in Salford on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting students with diverse needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.This school received an Ofsted rating of 'OUTSTANDING' in 2019 and is home to 140 students, aged from 11 to 19 years, with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and Autism.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role you must have:

  • Relevant Level 4 TA qualification or equivalent
  • Proven experience working in a special needs setting, supporting students with a range of needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for working with children with special needs

A desirable Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
  • Experience in monitoring and report writing, with the ability to assess and track student progress effectively.
