A leading defence and technology company is looking for a Process Safety Engineer to ensure the safe design, operation, and management of high-hazard processes. As Process Safety Engineer responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with DSEAR, COMAH, and Explosives Regulations
- Conduct risk assessments (HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA) and safety audits
- Lead incident investigations and drive process improvements
- Support engineering teams to integrate safety into operations
- Deliver training and promote a strong safety culture
Experience required:
- HND/Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Process Safety
- Experience in high-hazard industries (defence, pharma, chemicals, oil & gas)
- Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations
- Proactive, analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
