Sonic Summary

Our client, a friendly firm of Accountants, is seeking a new client Bookkeeper to join their team.
The role involves bookkeeping for a varied portfolio, bank and credit card reconciliations, preparation of VAT returns, and answering client queries.
Candidates should have strong double-entry bookkeeping experience and ideally be proficient in Xero and/or Sage software.
Previous experience in an accounting firm is beneficial but not essential, and the position is full-time.
The salary for this role is competitive, though the specific amount is not mentioned.

Our client is an established, friendly firm of Accountants who are looking for a new client Bookkeeper to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including:

Bookkeeping duties for a varied portfolio of clients
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Preparation of VAT returns
Answering client queries regarding bookkeeping
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Use of Xero & Sage software
Opportunity to get involved in accounts preparation / more senior accounts duties if desired

You will need strong double-entry bookkeeping experience, and ideally be a confident Xero and/or Sage user. Previous experience working within a firm of Accountants or bookkeeping bureau would be highly beneficial, but is definitely not essential. The firm are ideally looking for someone to work full-time.
