Your new companyOur client are a specialist facilities service provider who deliver services to large commercial portfolios and estates across the UK. They are hiring an Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis for a large, specialised commercial property estate in Salisbury.Your new roleAs Account Manager you will be operating at a senior-level capacity to lead the successful delivery of facilities maintenance services to a large, complex estate. You will play a central role in implementing the operational strategy across the contract, ensuring delivery of high-quality maintenance services, including reactive, planned, and grounds maintenance, that meet all contractual KPIs and SLAs. Your responsibilities will include regular service reviews, ensuring statutory compliance across client assets, identifying and mitigating risks, and developing the capability to successfully deliver capital projects that align with client needs. A strong commitment to health and safety underpins the role, and you will be expected to implement and lead a Zero Harm strategy across the estate.From a financial and growth perspective, you will be accountable for ensuring that contract objectives are achieved within budget and performance targets, reporting regularly on outcomes and identifying opportunities to enhance customer value. You will be instrumental in developing solutions that exceed expectations and strengthen our client's market position, helping to secure future business growth.A core aspect of your role involves building and maintaining collaborative, trust-based relationships with senior clients, government bodies and other internal and external stakeholders. You'll lead procurement relationships with commercial suppliers and foster excellent customer relations by ensuring engagement at the local level is consistently strong.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role you will require a significant proven track record in delivering facilities maintenance services to large commercial property estates, ideally within a government environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills to liaise with senior clients and the ability to prioritise and problem-solve under pressure. You will also require:
- Relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent
- Track record of professional development
- Ability to obtain high-security clearances
- Proven experience in senior operations and contract deliver roles
- Strong commercial and analytical awareness
- Ability to deliver change in complex, fast-paced environments
