Residential Conveyancer- The Role

This is a newly created role—an exciting opportunity made necessary by the continued growth that the firm has seen, leading to more client instructions and referrals, driven by the high levels of service and satisfaction that they consistently deliver.

  • Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion.
  • Handling sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold/freehold matters.
  • Liaising with clients, agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQS and regulatory requirements.
  • Updating case management systems and maintainingaccurate records.

What are we looking for?

  • We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years' hands-on experience in residential conveyancing.
  • This can be as a Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) or a Licensed Conveyancer; however, we’re also open to considering highly experienced individuals without formal legal qualifications.
  • You will bring strong interpersonal skills and thrive as part of a collaborative team.
  • You’ll be well-organised, able to manage your time effectively, and confident using modern IT systems.
  • The role requires someone who can juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, maintain high attention to detail, and adapt quickly to changing demands.
  • Outstanding client care is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven track record of consistent billing performance is expected, as is a genuine interest in contributing to the growth and success of the property department.
