Bee Happy Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef in Salisbury (Wiltshire) to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation are maintained consistently. The Head Chef will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff supervision, and maintaining a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Pay: £42,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences
Manage food production processes to optimise efficiency and minimise waste
Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Coordinate staff schedules, training programmes, and performance reviews
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Assist in serving guests when required, providing excellent hospitality
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen environment
Extensive food production and culinary expertise with a strong focus on quality
Excellent team management and leadership capabilities
Proficient in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
Solid background in kitchen experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
