Are you a chef looking for a fantastic opportunity with a leading global player in the contract catering industry?

We are currently recruiting for a Second Chef at our catering site just a short drive from Salisbury. You'll be joining a supportive brigade and assisting in preparing, cooking, and presenting food to high standards.

Key Information:
Salary: £14.18 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days
Shifts: Alternating weekly shifts - Early: 6:00am-2:30pm / Late: 10:30am-7:00pm
Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends
Functions: Paid at time and a half
Location: Salisbury
Contract: Permanent

Duties Include:
Supporting all aspects of the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards
Helping to set and maintain high standards
Ensuring the kitchen remains clean, tidy, and hygienic
Responding to customer feedback and adapting menus as needed
Participating in training to maintain and improve standards
Carrying out any other reasonable tasks requested by management

To Be Successful, You'll Need:
Previous experience as a Second Chef or Sous Chef
Food Hygiene Certificate / Food Allergen Training
Awareness of health and safety (COSHH etc.) - training can be provided
A passion for hospitality and delivering great service
The ability to stay calm under pressure
A team player mindset and the ability to thrive in a busy environment
