HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 - Amesbury

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 driver's for Permanent work at our busy chilled distribution site based in Amesbury (Wiltshire). The role consists of refrigerated multi drop deliveries . Immediate starts for successful candidates.

Shift available:

• AM ROTATING WEEKLY 
• Week1 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 01:00-05:00 SUNDAY and THURSDAY rest days
• Week2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and SATURDAY 01:00-05:00 - SUNDAY and MONDAY rest days

Day shift pay rates:

• Monday – Friday  £16.63 (overtime after 47.5hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

Nights pay rates:

• Monday – Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for:

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.
• Minimum of 6 months Class one experience required
• No more than 3 points on your licence

Your role:

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicles checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
