Job Description:

Trident Healtchare - are seeking an experienced hospital Oncology pharmacist for a locum contract based in Salisbury. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Aria prescribing system and will be responsible for:

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • Developing and enhancing professional relationships with the clinical cancer services team.
  • Leading service improvement projects within cancer services.
  • Developing an integrated way of working with the wider cancer services MDT to ensure near patient screening is the standard practice.
  • Being an integral member of the Pharmacy Senior Management team.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensuring that clinical screening aligns with best clinical practice.
  • Providing adequate cover for clinical screening.
  • Managing and developing both the Senior Cancer Clinical Pharmacist and the Oncology Specialist Pharmacist.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a hospital cancer specialist pharmacist.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in the Aria prescribing system.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
