Job Description:
Trident Healtchare - are seeking an experienced hospital Oncology pharmacist for a locum contract based in Salisbury. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Aria prescribing system and will be responsible for:
Main Purpose of the Job:
- Developing and enhancing professional relationships with the clinical cancer services team.
- Leading service improvement projects within cancer services.
- Developing an integrated way of working with the wider cancer services MDT to ensure near patient screening is the standard practice.
- Being an integral member of the Pharmacy Senior Management team.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensuring that clinical screening aligns with best clinical practice.
- Providing adequate cover for clinical screening.
- Managing and developing both the Senior Cancer Clinical Pharmacist and the Oncology Specialist Pharmacist.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a hospital cancer specialist pharmacist.
- Preferably knowledgeable in the Aria prescribing system.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
