Join a well-established Manufacturing business in Salisbury, supporting supply chain operations and helping ensure materials arrive on time and in full. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with previous Purchasing or Planning experience who enjoys working independently and within a close-knit team. As a Purchasing & Planning Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Raising and processing purchase orders aligned with production needs
  • Liaising with suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and deliveries
  • Monitoring order statuses and reporting overdue items
  • Supporting planning tasks such as scheduling, work order management, and transport booking
  • Communicating with internal teams to coordinate material flow
As a Purchasing & Planning Assistant, your experience will include:
  • Previous experience in Purchasing or Planning, ideally within a Manufacturing environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Confident communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organisational skills
